I took the American General accent training course with the all-fabulous Lindsey and I couldn't of been happier!! Her knowledge and expertise is unreal - she knows exactly how to guide you and she helps you improve at all and any stage you're at! Every lesson felt comfortable, fun and full of progress. Lindsey taught me British Received Pronunciation, and she is quite genuinely one of the best teachers I’ve had -- in any discipline. I cannot recommend her highly enough. If you want to improve how you sound in English, it would be hard to find a better coach than Lindsey. I’ve tried several coaches before finding Lindsey. She can give you precise, detailed assessments and prescribe targeted practices for adjustments, which really work. Unless you know what it is you are doing or not doing, it’s hard to change anything, it goes without saying. Other coaches i’ve experienced tend to throw general practices. Plus, she really loves what she does, which manifests as a real added benefit for the students. Highly recommend!

I contacted Lindsey in June 2021 as I wanted to soften my accent, and I have to say, it was one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. Lindsey is an exceptional educator and elocution coach. Prior to working with Lindsey, I had some lessons with other tutors, but they left me rather confused and with little practical result. Lindsey has been a God-sent! Her lessons are tailor-made, clear and very well-structures. She's also incredibly available and answers one's questions within 24 hours with great patience and efficiency. The result is guaranteed if one does Linsdey's exercises regularly. Personally I practise 30 to 40 minutes 5 times a week. Before starting to work with her, something would always give me away as a non-native speaker of English. Now, whenever I engage in a conversation with a native speaker of British, American or Australian English, they usually ask me what part of Britain I'm from as my accent is quite neutral. One of Linsdey's assets is that she teaches on video calls, which allows one to work with her in the comfort of their own home and thus having access to their own equipment with is really valuable. After teaching me to speak in a mordern RP accent, Lindsey is now teaching me upper-class RP, which is invaluable as my children (3 and 7 years old) now have a natural conservative RP accent.
